Those who have undergone teeth whitening are interested in maintaining the effect for as long as possible. For this purpose, dentists recommend a white or transparent diet.

The white diet after teeth whitening has nothing to do with losing weight - these are recommendations for preserving and consolidating the effect of dental procedures for a longer period. Special nutrition is aimed at protecting bleached enamel from dark-colored products, especially in the first days after the procedure, when it is receptive and easily “absorbs” foreign shades.

During treatment, the enamel pores open and remain in this state for 24-48 hours after the procedure. Therefore, these restrictions must be strictly followed for the first 48 hours, or better yet, completely for the first week. After bleaching, the enamel becomes thinner and microcracks form on it. It takes about a week to strengthen it - this explains the timing of the strict restrictions.

Then, for the next two weeks, these products can be consumed with restrictions. Drinks may be consumed through a straw so that they do not touch the teeth. The effect of the procedure lasts from 3 to 12 months. It depends on the porosity of your teeth and the lifestyle you lead (smoking, drinking colored drinks and foods). In the process of losing weight on a white diet, the body receives a lot of calcium and little fat. Sticking to the program for more than a week is dangerous to your health. If it is not possible to achieve the desired result, the course is repeated only after a month.

As mentioned above, the essence of this diet is to eat white foods. Of course, first of all we are talking about milk, which, according to this nutritional system, must be consumed in a strictly defined sequence in the diet.

Despite the fact that the white diet for weight loss is based on dairy products, unfortunately, not all of them can be used in your diet. If their fat content exceeds 4%, it is very unlikely that you will get even a “microscopic” result after completing the diet.
